We speak with Erin from Erin Lightfeather about how she built her business by focusing on a medium she loved and focusing on Instagram.
Erin Summer is a feather artist based in Toronto.
Her business started when she went back to school to start her own jewellery line, which soon morphed into something else entirely, a business that creates bespoke feather pieces.
In this episode Erin shares:
- How she found her niche
- Her next business move: hint, it's back to the beginning
- How she takes such beautiful images
- Why Instagram has been a growth platform.
What I love about this interview is Erin's belief that Makers should value their work and charge accordingly and her genuine love of hand crafted arts.
If you're someone who thinks that their passion can't be profitable, then Erin is going to change your mind.
We hope that you take inspiration from Erin's story and turn her lessons into your own actions.
